Not everyone knows Furry Murray, my SO. He walks around the house singing, "I'm fat. I'm furry, and my name is Murray." He is. He is and it isn't.
Speaking of furry, FM got a dog named Lucy in October of 2004. Lucy hates women (probably even Ethel Mertz) so we rescued a stray from lethal injection in March of 2005. He had no name. The minute Furry Murray picked him up, he got one. Desi!
Can't leave out one of my favorite women in the world, my daughter Rene. She's rbnyc at iVillage and a few other planets.
We lost Lucy in 2007. She was victim of Chinese melamine in her peanut butter cookies. After swearing we would never get another dog and thereby avoid the pain of losing her, we adopted Izzy. Our one-dog day lasted two days. Izzy is the most beautiful girl in the world. Just ask her. |
