what I do I started the first PPD support group in the state of Arizona 11 years ago. I have 10 yrs experience working in my state's mental health system with the seriously mentally ill as a case manager. I've written articles on PPD and have appeared on the news to discuss PPD. I give lectures to hospitals and their staff regarding PPD signs and symptoms and am an advocate for women and their families. I also serve to educate professionals and the public about the treatment and effects of PPD. I used to be a firefighter. |
