My wife and I own and run a residential care home for learning disabled youngsters and extensive outreach services for LD adults. The care home is our home, too.
We fostered a total of 32 children over a thirteen-year period, mostly long-term, with a short break before we embarked upon our present career. |

From my dearest Aunt, in my boyhood autograph book, knowing I would love this Cockney truism:
"Life ain't all you want, but it's all you 'ave, so 'ave it. Stick a geranium in yer 'at and be 'appy!"
(She died in my arms a few years ago, aged 96.) |
