best advice I've ever received
Your house will never be as clean as you want it. No matter how many rules for putting things back and how caught up you feel on your laundry it will never be like it was before kids were in your life so accept it. If friends drop by or your in-laws show up unannounced so-be it. If there is jelly all over the window and dog has been Sharpied a "new kitty face" that is life. It is not the end of the world. No adults I know say they had the best time with their mom when she was scrubbing the toilets
