Dr. K helped people who were suffering from living an unbearable life. I had hoped that the exposure of medically assisted suicide would have grown since his arrest and that option would have become available for terminally ill patients. But, I guess people want to keep their loved ones in a state of pain, lying in a bed groaning and moaning and living in a morphine induced state of confusion - I don't consider that living a quality life and I would love to have an option like medically assisted suicide. I had a elderly man living below me in an apartment for many years and listening to this man in pain moaning and groaning and begging to die for so many years helped make that decision for me.
"For 10 years, Jack Kevorkian's actions resembled those of a pathological serial killer. It will be truly regrettable if he's now treated as a celebrity parolee instead of the convicted murderer he is," archdiocese spokesman Ned McGrath said in a statement. ----- McGrath....get over yourself!!
