Thought I'd share my breastmilk "baby bircher muesli" recipe (m)

I put 2-3 Tbsp (or more depending on how much your baby is eating) finely ground oatmeal (or baby oatmeal cereal) into a container, cover with expressed breastmilk and leave in the fridge overnight. I usually do this after dinner in the evening and check it before I go to bed - sometimes I find I need to add a little more breastmilk.

In the morning add some fruit (mashed banana, pureed or mashed stewed apple, grated very ripe apple would be fine for an older baby etc) and mix well. For an older baby you can add softened (in hot water) finely chopped raisins or a spoonfull of yoghurt.
