Need advice on an alternative vaccine schedule...(M)

We have come up with this and need your advice. Is it following all the rules of vaccines? I am due in July with our second child and our first child was vaccine injured, so trying to be very cautious, but still get the needed vaccines....

2mo- Hib b #1 4mo- Polie #1 6mo- Hib b #2 9mo- Polie #2 12mo- Hib b #3 15mo- Polie #3 18mo- Hib b #4 21mo- DPT #1 24mo- DPT #2 27mo- DPT #3 30mo- Hep B #1 32mo- Hep B #2 34mo- Hep B #3 36mo- DPT #4

We are going to try to get an medical excemption for MMR vaccine which our first ds had a adverse reaction too. We are also not wanting the Cp adn will wait as long as we can.

Thanks Rebekah

Hi Rebekah...I'm going to post an answer here as well as....

on the new board....

For the "rules of vaccination":

http://www.immunize.org/nslt.d/n17/rules1.htm

From what I can tell, it looks like "hib b" is the HiB vaccine and "polie" is the IPV (polio)? The schedule you propose does follow all of the "rules" of vaccination. Just so I have it right, here it is again:

2 mo - HiB #1; 4 mo - IPV #1; 6 mo - HiB #2; 9 mo - IPV #2; 12 mo - HiB #3; 15 mo - IPV #3; 18 mo - HiB #4; 21 mo - DTaP #1; 24 mo - DTaP #2; 27 mo - DTaP #3; 30 mo - Hep B #1; 32 mo - Hep B #2; 34 mo - Hep B #3; 36 mo - DTaP #4

HTH - Eve
