1st, 2nd & 3rd Grade

Nothing really. Our school district doesn't require students to bring their own supplies until middle school. I usually send DS to school with class donations... boxes of tissue paper, maybe some dry erase markers, new crayons if I find those 20 cent crayola deals. Occasionally the teachers will put out a wish list for classroom items but throughout the year... not in the beginning.

DS will need some new pants though!

Usually our lists don't come out until right before school starts.  I haven't checked the school website though.  It's usually the standard, paper, pencils, pencil box, glue, crayons, markers, erasers, notebooks.  Then they ask for bags, wipes, and tissues, as well as hand sanitizer if they need it.  I love supply shopping...I always have.

J's school sent the list home on the last day.  it is a generic list for the entire 3rd grade.  The 2nd grade did the same thing - he ended up bringing home items he never freaking used in 2nd grade.  I HOPE the 3rd grade teachers have it together better. 

24 pack of crayons

8 pack of markers

12 colored pencils

1 pkg of #2 pencils

scissors with pointed tips (would have been nice if they would have sent his 2nd grade sccissors home)

2 -2 pocket folders

erasers (wonder what kind???)

school box to hold school supplies (which supplies????)

one spiral bound wide ruled notebook

2 boxes of wet wipes - no Clorox

2 boxes of tissues

1 roll of paper towels

2 dry erase markers

1 bottle of glue and 2 glue sticks

2 composition notebooks

2 highlighters

1 - 1 inch binder with a clear pocket front

A-M bring 1 box of sanwich bags

N-Z bring 1 box of gallon bags

sweater to leave in locker

1 watercolor paint set

gym shoes

1 pkg of post it notes (any color)

paint shirt

2 packs of white ruled index cards

No trapper keepers

We'll also have to pay a supply fee.
