Definatly, On one hand it's easier to focus on what's at hand if the house is picked up, and you're not tripping on your way to the bedroom, or thinking you have to change laundry afterward, before falling asleep so you  have clothes for the next day. On the other I always tell DH he looks sexiest when he's folding clothes (one thing I hate doing) in his boxers.

In all honesty I do most of the "housework" but then I'm also a SAHM. DH is really good about helping if I ask. Now if I could just get him to notice before I need to ask ;-).

Parenting responsibilities are at least equal if not him taking more then half when he's at home. Mostly because the boys have had enough of me and want daddy time and are looking for his attention. Plus he's figured out that I need a break from being "touched" if I'm going to be touched more later lol.  Now with this baby I'm pushing to try cloth diapers so I may end up with more then my 50% of the diapering duty if I get him to go along with it and try it, but I'm sure he'll make it up in other ways.

I'm not sure that I find my DH "more attractive" but him picking up some of the housework def gives me more energy to want to DTD! My DH does the dishes and the laundry.. as well as helps me keep things straightened up and prior to being PG... we DTD about 4x per week! I'm not sure that I would contribute that # completely over to him doing housework.. but it helped!

I guess if DH helped out more I wouldn't be so exhausted at the end of the day so I'd say yes.  In fact, I read that if you are resentful toward your partner it will show up somewhere in relationship and sex usually being the first place to look.

This fact is so shockingly true that I'm suprised this is the first time I've seen an article on it. An "intimate" night in our house almost always starts with me getting to take a bath with DH puts DS to bed (otherwise, this 45-minute chore almost always falls to me).

Although, I don't know if I'd phrase it as him appearing more attractive to me. I think it's a combination of (1) having more energy, (2) feeling more attractive myself (when I get a little break from housekeeping and parenting), and (3) feeling deep affection for DH when he shows through action that he loves and respects our family and our home.

I couldn't have said your post any better.... :)

I think my DH is attractive all the times... but when he takes that extra step to show me how much he loves and cares for his family (beyond what he does).... it makes me swoon even more lol. :)

Plus just having that extra energy is really important if he is hoping for any type of action lol especially right now lol :)
