<<<yes, she's very right wing, against gay marriage and abortion, not really a friend of the environment, etc. etc. etc. >>>
She's a republican. That's kinda what we do.
(LOL@ "Against" the environment.... anybody take note of the hundreds of cars left idling at the DNC so the "greenies" could slip into their nice airconditioned SUVs after their speeches?)
And "against" gay marriage, but gave gay couples the same rights as hetero couples as governor of Alaska.
<<<she has yet to make a political splash, so to speak. she's barely gotten her feet wet. >>>
She has executive experience that Obama doesn't, she took on corruption in her OWN party head on and quite publicly refused government handouts (bridge to nowhere) and SOLD the wasteful jet her "experienced" predocessor had purchased with state funds.
She took a reduction in her own salary to help get what she wanted to get done in her state.
What has Obama DONE? Not promised, in vague sound bites with no real plan of execution... what has he actually DONE? And HE is the PRESIDENTIAL candidate, not the VP.
<<<if you can tell me she was a better candidate than all of the other male or female republicans based on political ideology and experience, then i'd be more supportive. >>>
She has proven in her executive roles that she IS the "change" she promises....
That is good enough for me.
