Women are very busy these days.  Between working and raising a family, how do you find time for religion and spirituality in your life?  Are you finding that you have less time in your busy life for religion or do you find religion a necessity because you are so busy?

Watch this clip from the Today show and let us know what you think!

I'll have to admit, I didn't watch the video.
But, I opened this message because I find the title really odd!

To me, faith and family and totally intertwined.  It is something the family does together.  So, to "find the balance between faith and family" is a concept that doesn't even connect for me.  They are not two things competing for limited resources, where we have to choose one over the other.

It is something to incorporate into family life and something that we all do together.  At least....that's how it is in our family.

Faith is a part of who I am not something I can be or not be in a given role (wife, mother, friend, etc).  As such, it is inseparable from each.  Prayer is a constant part of my life and it is not time consuming, but rather gives me a perspective on time itself.  I think the question is a bit odd.  Faith is not about doing religious things (attending worship, reading the Bible, serving others), but because of faith we are engaged in practices that nurture us and those that seek to nurture others.
