Writing Exercise Board

I was doing some research and this site popped up on the search engine.  After reading and exploring for a little bit, I decided to come and play.

I am a terrible writer (doesn't keep me from trying, lol) but it gives me something to do.

There is no such thing as a terrible writer, you're just a flower that hasn't bloomed yet, and when you do it be the most beatiful flower in the entire garden. All it takes is believing, and hard work you'll get there.

Thanks for introducing yourself.

Writing is a skill which can be learned, a means of communication. You have the one real important ingredient which can not be manufactured and that is passion to communicate with the written word.

You are welcome to post samples of your writing for critique and we can make suggestions where and how to improve your technique.

Do you have any avenues for writing? Newsletters Blogs etc?

Thank you for the welcome, I am very happy to be here.

Sadly, between being a single mother who homeschools, works full-time and takes and insane amount of classes  I have very little personal time left over.  I am embarresed to admit that I have never read a blog, nor do I have one.  I don't even know how to create one, much less what to put into it.  LOL.

Actually, I do have a few paragraphs on the latest work in progress.  I would love some suggestions.
