Where the Wild Thing Are by Maurice Sendak
I find it incredible that they can make an entire movie out of a 24 or 32 page picture book! 'The Polar Express' is a good example of this. They did such a good job on that movie that I consider it as a classic; I don't think it will ever grow old.
