i just finished reading "The Thirteenth Tale", by Diane Setterfield. i absolutely LOVED it, and HAD to share! i wrote a review in my blog right here...

I recently listened to it and got thoroughly drawn in.  I loved how the author described the protagonist's love of words, books and writing.  Bizarre twist at the end with a surprise character--I did not anticipate that.

Another book you might like is People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks, lots of history about the hiding of an ancient manuscript from desctruction in Sarajevo.
