Well, I live in the Pacific Northwest. Not on the rainy side of the state, which is the coastal side. I live on the east side, close to the base of the Rockies. Typically, our summers are hot and dry and the winters are cold and snowy. About 10 years ago, things started to change. We've had much less snow. Last year it snowed for about 4 days and it stayed on the ground for a week and that was it. The rest of the winter was just rainy. Same thing this year. No snow until a couple of weeks ago. The temp went down and it got very cold. Around zero for several days. We have had lots of heavy winds. The snow is again gone and the temp is around 30. Such strange weather for this area. As I grew up, there was snow on the ground most of the winter. It's behaving more like the coastal area here. Milder temps with lots of rain and wind.
I'm tired of it. I'm very ready for some warm weather and I always look forward to the heat of the summer. It gets very hot in July and usually lasts through Labor Day. Right now it's just too stinkin' cold.
