I answered yes, but it is because of what I use a blog for! I have two blogs- a craft blog and a recipe blog. I post progress, links and comments about projects I am working on not only to get input from others who share my interests (I have no family/friends that do any of the needlework that I do), but also to help me continue finishing particularly difficult or time consuming projects. I would prefer to share this stuff with people in real life, but as a handicapped person, it's difficult for me to join groups (I can't drive at night, for instance), so this helps solve that need to hear someone say 'great job!.' In addition, family members that don't live close by can see what I'm doing-we have more contact as a result. My sister (and others) can try the recipes I've tried when it's convenient.
Hi Stitchcrossing, I agree about sharing with others that don't live nearby. Plus blogging is so convenient, you go to your link and there are no notebooks to lose (that's my personal preference being not all that organized with paper). Plus I think most people type faster than write.

I chose No, but actually I like to blog and journal with a pencil and paper just as much. I use my blog to keep in touch with my friends and family. I use my journal to write down my private thoughts.
