Sorry this is not a mystery suspense or thriller, but a fantasy.

The Day of The Djinn Warriors by P.B. Kerr

Actually it is finished.

So far in July I've read Black Smoke, and Mrs Lincoln:A Life.

Next up either Within Reach or Fragment.

Guess during the Read-A-Thon it doesn't matter what genre you're reading as long as you're reading. ;-)

It helps if you enjoy it!

Keep up the good work.

Isn't that the hard part, Karyn? How do you choose which one to read next? (My answer's in my July Reads post.)

Finished Shadows yesterday afternoon! That one made me decide I need more Edna Buchanan novels, particularly the Cold Case Squad series. She's getting me interested in what happens to her characters - not only in the novel I'm reading but in the next one.

Started the double book last night but only got three pages into it. (Reading helps me sleep like a baby.) Had to pick which side to start with. How'd I do it? Alphabetically, of course! LOL! I'll be reading Double Homicide Boston first and then Double Homicide Santa Fe.

How do I pick the next addition to my list of old, dusty books? Clean off a bookshelf. (I said they were dusty.) Think I'll start with the mish-mash shelf. It's got everything on it. There are books on gardening, cooking, boats, cars, and a few novels. There's a popcorn popper on that shelf, too. (How'd that get there?)

There are some old Edna Buchanan books on another shelf (some are autographed) but that one's so packed I'll save it for much later.

Happy reading! I'll be back off to Boston as soon as I finish shopping . . . .
