What is everyone reading this hot, sticky month? Beach-read mysteries?

I figured out what made Blood Memory such a page-turner. At least I think I did. It was written in first-person, present tense. You were pulled along in what felt like real time by the woman who was living it. Sometimes that was painful but, just like you've got to breathe, you had to keep reading to see what happened next. (I'll have to try that.)

Still haven't been able to find another mystery to read next. Let me know what you're reading and give me some ideas.

I STILL can't get into reading! :o( It's been months since I've read much. VERY unusual for me!
I've been reading 13 steps by Ruth Rendell for ages! She's always been one of my favourite authors too.

I am trying an audio book by Jayne Kerentz Running Hot.

It is not so good. Still waiting for something to happen.

I will let you know.

Gee, Tracy, think I went through that affliction for about a year! (I got over it last month but then read such an incredible book that I'm having a problem getting into another.)

The first thing I thought of was making your next book an audio book. But then I read Aileen's post (below). I'll be trying a dusty audio book from my bookshelf. Sure hope we don't run into the same problem Aileen's facing. ;-)
