Rumors flying over John Williams....
possibly returning to score the music for HP & the Deathly Hallows. Ever since Nicholas Hooper backed out and Heyman made the assertion that if Williams' schedule allowed it, he would love to have him return for DH. So the rumors have been flying and last night at the Hollywood Bowl increased those rumors even more.
Williams appeared to conduct the Hollywood Bowl for it's 10th anniversary opening night. According to Mugglenet, Williams dedicated his first hour of the performance to several scores from the first three HP films, which of course were the ones he scored! There is also confirmation that Williams will be conducting another concert in Chicago in late November and as part of that concert, a grand suite of HP music called "The Magic of Harry Potter" will be performed.
Of course, this sudden push of HP related pieces being conducted at Williams' concerts, gives HP fans hope that Williams is warming up and seeking inspiration for his next score, HP & the Deathly Hallows!
And if of course, you are like me a big John Williams fan and would like to hear some of the performance check out youtube.com and search for John Williams Hollywood Bowl 2009 to listen! He also did a tribute to film, as well as his scores from Superman, ET and Star Wars.
