There is a new version of this old classic in our cinemas right now. A $150,000,000 worth of animations for our delight, (I hope).  Just perhaps, there Will be a new contender for the best Scrooge of all time but I doubt that Alistair Sim Will ever be bested.

Has anyone seen it yet?

I'm taking Mom Tuesday afternoon ... can't wait!

P. S.  George C. Scott will still reign supreme.  Scrooge is dead, long live Scrooge!

Ooooooooo!  You lucky devil you.  Don't know when it's due here but I shall go see it, I can't remember my last visit to a cinema, I think it was on a visit to London when we popped in to see "The Outlaw, Josie Whales."  Clint Eastwood, my son was about ten years old, he is now almost fifty!

Long live George C Scott, long live Alastair Sim, may they remain with us always, Gawd bless em.  And long live my dear uncle Ebenezer Scrooge.

Are you serious?  The Outlaw Josie Wales was the last movie you saw in a theater?  My goodness, and I think I'm lax (or cheap!) when it comes to movies!

Madam, I am serious: you are a victim of the USA.  Me; I could well be a character from a Dicken's novel and well I know it, I revel in my ancient splendour.
