I hope no one minds me posting this. I remember doing these years ago on either this board or another one on ivillage and thought it might be a fun Friday activity to bring back. Since Halloween's tomorrow, I thought I'd theme this week's questions around that.

1) Halloween, All Hallows', Sahmain, or none of the above?

We always celebrated Halloween in my family, although I know about All Hallows' from church. I should really learn more about Sahmain!

2) Ghost stories or horror films?

I love a good, bone-chilling ghost story, but generally avoid horror films.

3) Candy corn or popcorn balls?

Candy corn, although I've failed to pick up a bag of it this year.

4) Costumes or carving pumpkins?

I much prefer to my energy into carving pumpkins, although hollowing them out can certainly be tedious!

5) Trick or treat?

I'll take a treat any ol' day over a trick. ;)

1) Halloween, All Hallows', Sahmain, or none of the above?

Halloween is what I grew up with - the Halloween where the costumes were supposed to be scary. OK, the first Halloween I dressed up, I was a bear. Not a scary grizzly, more like a teddy bear.

2) Ghost stories or horror films?

I love a good ghost story like we used to tell around a campfire after a hayride. I miss those days. Now I settle for a good horror flick if I can sneak one in. FM doesn't like scary things.

3) Candy corn or popcorn balls?

Candy corn. The popcorn gets eaten before we can make it into ball. Apples get cooked before we can drench them in caramel. Candy corn is what it is - and makes a good cake decoration.

4) Costumes or carving pumpkins?

If I'm gonna kill a pumpkin, it will be for a pie or a cake or some bread, not to cut it up so it can rot. I've got a long black dress left over from a wedding (don't ask) that's been my witch's dress for years. Haven't found my hat this year but my hair is scary enough. It's costumes for sure!
