my husband and i have been going to weight watchers for six weeks now and have both done very well. last night i discovered i gained a pound while my husband lost 3.2 pounds i wa in disbelief because he ate so much more than i did this week . still i told him how proud i was. then as we were walking to the meeting room i noticed he was wearing sandals instead of his usual work boots. his much heavier work boots that the weigh in woman told him he would have to wear at every weigh in or else his weight loss would be inaccurate. i told him he was a cheater and how unfair he was being to everyone who worked hard and actually lost the weight am i overreacting?

Well that stinks. Did he do it intentionally or was it just a simple mistake? I guess the flipside of things is that at next week's weigh-in if he gets back to his correct footwear things will even back out. I don't think it's something to get too awfully worked up about, as long as he either stays consistent with the new choice of footwear or he goes back to what he originally weighed with. But I can see being frustrated, particularly if he acts braggy about having lost weight :P

Hugs :)

NEVER compete with a man on weight loss.  Their metabolism just burns fat much faster than ours does.  Totally unfair, but there it is.
