Hi ladies. It's been a while since I've posted on any of the boards. I thought I'd drop in to say Hi. After a pretty rough year and a half, Davonte and I are doing absolutely great. I finally found a great job with the State Department of Children's services and after all this time of trying to start over successfully, things are finally going our way. I've missed all of my friends on the board and once things really start to roll with work, I'll be able to post more often and get back in touch with everyone.

Glad to see you are ok, i was wondering and worried a little since you just dropped off the face of the earth...

I am still volunteering as a Deputy Probation officer, Graduated with my bachelors in Criminal Justice and am now working on my Masters in Counseling.

My hours were nuts at my last job (collections for a credit card company) and I didn't have computer access. Now I go to the library a few times a week. I start my new job tomorrow with DCS as a juvenile probation officer. I really wanted to do Child Protective services, but they wanted me in probation. I finally have my foot in the door after over a year, so I'm not complaining one bit. I'm nervous about starting a whole new job, but I'm up for the challenge.

Congrats on getting your degree!!!!  I want to go back and finish my Master's.  Keeping my fingers crossed for you to have continued success.
