Only one more chemo left!!!  He thinks i'll be fine having a lumpectomy, since I will have radiation regardless.  I have my last chemo Monday, than an MRI about a week and a half after, then I meet with the surgeon.  Yikes, i'm nervous now!!!  Please let all the cancer be gone!!!  He felt my lump and my nodes and he cant feel anything, so its looking good :)  Hope everyone else is doing good!

It is always good to be able to check things off of the to-do list.  I will be thinking of you.  I know how scary and exciting it can be at the same time when you are dealing with all of this.  It will all work out for the best in the end.  Just focus on getting well.  I hope that it is all gone, too!

Yeah!!! Seems like a long road, right? I'm glad things have turned out well and you can see the end of this part of it.

I go to the dr tomorrow for my second herceptin and maybe start the tamoxifen. I've started working with a trainer three times a week. My times are 8 pm Tues & Thu and 8 am Sunday. I have such a funky work/school schedule that this was the only time that worked. It's going to be okay, I think, but I drag my self there so tired I don't I think can do much, but it works out and I feel better. You were right. I still need to meet with the nutritionist and get my eating more line, but I find I am less likely to squat in front of the TV and graze in the evenings if I've been at the gym. : )

Slow and steady . . . for all of us!

Yay good for you Ramona,  Having a trainer is the best thing you can do for yourself!!  Its hard not to show up when you know there waiting for you, and dont worry about not being able to do much.  Its not the quaintity, its the quanlity.  (or is it the other way around?  I'm soooo chemobrained out now!!!)  Just mixing a little cardio with weights burns a ton of fat and builds muscle!!!  I cant wait to start really exercising again!!  I just feel better!  Are you doing weight training?  Sounds like youve got a busy life back:)  Good for you!!

I went to church last week, and I didnt know but the pastors wife had breast cancer 4 years ago!!!  I swear it is amazing how many people get it.  My really good friend whose mom had it last year just had a mamo on monday and has to go get 5 clusters biosied??  Dont know what they are, but it just seems like since ive been diagnosed it everywhere!!  I didnt know jacklyn smith had it either, or kate jackson!!  Crazy!!  I am so anxious to get the herceptin in me!!  Seems like thats the key for us HER2+++ women.  Its amazing what that stuff does!!  My Dr said he will give it to me with radiation :) So thats good!!

Yup, it's busy busy busy. I went to see my mom (she lives three hours away) over the weekend (she's also fighting cancer, and was hospitalized the week before), so I missed my "recuperation time" (and my house's recuperation time!) so I am running full speed and waiting for the weekend.

I have to go back to work this evening (a school is having a celebration because they won a national award and I said I'd go) and then do homework for my web class--it's due by midnight. This class has way too much work. I try not to be a whiner, but we have to have "discussions" and when I'm the only one posting it's hard to discuss! I think my other classmates also feel this is too much. My last web class was wonderful--I didn't worry about it during the week, and could log in on the weekends and get everything done. This class requires me to log on every stinkin' day. I might as well be making the trip to campus for a class. It couldn't take any more time than this. Sigh.

Anyway, yeah us!!!
