How do you remember friends and loved ones who have lost their lives to breast cancer?  How do you honor the survivors in your life?

I did one of my Tri for the Cure races in honor of my cousin who is a survivor.   I wore a bright pink sign with her name on it pinned to my race belt during the run portion.   It caught the eye of Nicole DeBoom who was doing a tv special about the race so she did an interview with me when I was done, unfortunately the interview ended up on the cutting room floor :-(   I sent my cousin a copy of the tv special and a survivor t shirt from the race.

I've never lost a loved one to breast cancer, but I've lost several to other types of cancer.

My Mother in Law died of breast cancer 2 years ago and we don't have any fancy memorial plans. Her situation was very sad and preventable (she rejected real medical treatment for scam diets, lotions, and vitamins) so it can turn into a very heated topic around here.
