Hello.. had my ba a week ago friday.. i am worried that they are too big.. at drs visit, the nurse told me they will not get any bigger, but they will not really get smaller either.. even though i have some swelling still...

Please share some stories on your post op size as time went on.. i went to the store today to buy some new tops (some to show them off and some to hide them) and came home crying because i can't hide them.  Everything i tried on, i felt like i looked huge.  Is it just too soon?

I bought a 34c bra and probably should be in a d.. but i really want  to just be an avg c.  Help!  I am so upset now..  I am second guessing my decision to do this now.. i am hoping that they will go down in size a bit..not a ton, but a bit..

5ft1" 105lbs 370cc's round saline/was a 34a to really small b

I haven't had mine done yet, only gone in for my consult so far.
I think it may just be too soon. And you may have more swelling than you think and may go down to a nice C cup.

Oh Honey... huge, huge (((hugs)))!!  I can soooo relate!

It's been more than 5 years since my BA but I can still vividly remember going to the Mothers Day Tea at my son's preschool when I was about two weeks post-op.  I'd made the mistake of wearing a white, clingy top and felt so huge and self-conscious the whole time.  It was miserable!

At my one week post-op appointment my PS had told me that 95% of my swelling was gone and I was the size I'd be.  From there I went straight to the store to shop for bras because he'd also released me from the horrid surgical bra.  I fully filled out C cups and even fit some D cups.  I was horrified!  This is coming from completely nothing btw.  Six weeks later when I went bra shopping again I could fill some C cups but fit more comfortablly into B's.  Maybe I didn't actually shrink, but they changed dramatically in shape and looked considerably smaller.  Maybe it was just the dropping, I dunno.  What I do know is my breasts at one week post-op are not even close to the final outcome, and I mean that in the best possible way.

Take heart Sweetie, it's not over yet.  Keep with the loose-fitting shirts for a few more weeks until you've dropped, and I'm positive you'll feel much better about things.  :-)

Hi:

I am 5 years post-op and love it!

I was a small B wanting to be a full C. For probably 4-6 weeks post OP my boobs were HUGE and hard and a full D.

Take heart. Within a pretty reasonable amount of time (months), they were softer, had dropped a bit (looking natural) and I am a C/full C.

I had under the muscle/saline btw.
