I go in early friday morning for my BA! I am so excited. Anyone have any tidbits of info or advice for me? I think I'm pretty much set with supplies I need after; just have to get a plastic retainer for my navel piercing and ear piercing I think.....Any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated!!!!

OMGosh, that's tomorrow already!  Yay!

Hopefully you get this in time to send someone to the store, or you've already got your bases covered... I recommend having some frozen peas on hand to use as ice packs.  They're a more gentle cold, if that makes sense.  Have all your prescriptions filled ahead of time.  You won't feel like stopping at the pharmacy on your way home.  And have some light, easy-to-digest foods in the house like jello, yogurt, scrambled eggs.

Be sure to keep up on your water.  Antibiotics and painkillers both tend to slow down the digestive system and being all bloated and backed up is no fun.  Have some mild laxative/stool softener on hand as well, just in case.

HTH!

thank you for your responses! I was prepared and have 4 bags of frozen peas onhand. What exactly will the icing help with btw? I'm on an antibiotic and celebrex plus have pain meds i can take as well, but haven't except for valium at nite. All is well, quite bloated i'm eating lots of fiber and water so fingers crossed i go today! I feel very hard and practically under my arm pits. I have no pressure except when I stand up and walk around. I havent attempted to take a shower yet. lol. I've got a sports bra on but cannot wait till i can let these babies loose, but i guess the bra helps reduce swelling?????

I had no nausea symptoms at all i believe bc of my doctors pill concoctions he had me take bf surgery. HE's awesome!!!!!! So just hanging around at home right now!!!! Thank you for all your well wishes!!!!!

Hello!  Glad to hear things went well... each day will get a bit better, but the healing (for me anyway) is slow.  I am two weeks out and still feel semi hard, a bit swollen too and still have some numbness and pain every now and then.

The ice is supposed to help keep the swelling down.  My dr said just to use it the first couple of days, then after that it doesn't really help..

good luck and keep me informed of your progress..we are two weeks apart:)
