My MIL just got diagnosed with Stage III Breast Cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes. My BIL (her son) is strongly encouranging her to not seek medical help via our local hospital but to rather try the Gerson Therapy method. It is an alternative all natural therapy treatment where you detox your body with enimas and drink organic fruit and vegetable juices along with a strict diet. From what I understand, you rid your body of all toxins and then you pump your body with strong antioxidants in order for your body to be able to fight the cancer on it's own without having to inject any medicine in your body.

I was wondering if any of you had heard of this or even better have tried it. I'm worried about her doing this and could use some opinions. She could be accepted into the program soon and she'd be flying to San Diego to the treatment center.
