If you're currently in remission, how long have you been so?  How long did you undergo treatment before receiving the news that you were cancer free?

DH is unofficially in remission for prostate cancer. He had surgery in 2002and then six months later, a round of radiation therapy. he was testing undetectable PSA until two tests ago when it started rising, slowly so they did a new series of tests (MRI, etc.) and found nothing so they thin=k it's an anomaly. But he's back on the watch list --- every six months testing...

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago. She had a lumpectomy followed by radiation a couple of months later. She goes to her oncologist every month, and he is happy with the blood work results.

The dreaded watch list... it's better than the active list though.  Hopefully he'll never be on that list again.

Oh, that's great!  I hope he continues to be happy with her results.  :)
