I guess I should have said other because we don't really "serve" drinks. We always use our own re-fillable water bottles and we try to take our own coffee mugs with us when we remember...my daughter does because she works at a coffee shop as a barista, so she always has hers. We drink out of the can if we have sodas and recycle EVERYTHING!! and if I have wine I just drink it straight from the bottle anyway soooo no need for wine glasses. Just kidding! I use a wine glass when I have an occasional glass, but I make my guests drink out of the bottle! LOL! hahhahha!
My kids are old enough now (12, 9 and 7) that we've retired most of the plastic and use just glass now. I do still keep some plastic on hand for when they want to take it outside though.
My kids drink out of plastic cups, guests drink out of glasses, I typically drink straight from the Diet Pepsi can or I pour my water into my Nalgene water bottle and drink from that.
Glass for the usual cold drinks, I have a plastic magic bullet type blender so I use that cup for frappuccinos and iced coffee and ceramic mugs for hot drinks.
