Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Just wondering if anyone who has had the surgery for  carpal
tunnel > 
Have you ever had  a problem with it  
later  in life?

I ask  because   I have  and wondering if anyone else
has any ...

Hi Wren, I had CTS release surgery several years ago. While it did help the severe pain and numbness I was experiencing, it wasn't the "cure all" I had hoped for. I do know others in real life who have had CTS release and are so happy they did. They no longer experience any symptoms and have never had any side affects.  

I had a little nerve damage and even now my hand feels like I'm moving it in slow motion. It still tires, goes slightly numb and gets painful. My ortho thinks that the recent problems with my hand are from Cubital Tunnel Syndrome (involves the elbow).

Are you considering the surgery? Have you seen the Ortho yet?
