Hi,
I had some symptom questions, like the other ladies. My main concern though,is through a trans vag u/s a mass was found on my ovary, but I go to a teaching hospital,so I haven't really been able to duscuss anything with my dr as of yet.My next appt will be on the 28th.So,the c word hasn't even been brought up.
My dr ordered the u/s due to intence lower back pain, gas, bloating(ect)and sparitic periods.
My main qustions I guess are, can you really'not be too young' (i'm almost 22), has anyone had alot of lower back pain and very out of order periods?
I'm not on any b/c,I had my tubes tied after delivering my first child preemature(at weeks).

Thanks for any info-Destiney

Hi and welcome to the ovarian cancer message board.  Unfortunately, no one is too young for cancer.  Your symptoms are definetly warning signs that something is going on.  The mass on your ovary needs further testing.  It sounds like the mass on your ovary is putting pressure on your bladder, causing your urinary frequency.

I would suggest that you have a CA 125 blood test too.  Call your doctor and see if you can have the blood test done, so you will have the results back for your Sept 28 dr appt.

Please let us know how your appointment goes.  If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Regards, Glynne
