Birth Control

I haven't been sexually active in a couple of years but have maintained my birth control usage during that time. When I am in a relationship I am anal about taking my pill at exactly the same time going so far as to set my alarm clock to do so if it's a weekend (always took it upon waking up on weekdays for work)

In last couple of years I have taken it AROUND the same time but sometimes a few hours late, etc because I haven't been sexually involved with anyone.

My work schedule changed recently so I am getting up at different hours and sleeping at crazy times so I hae forgotten to take my pill on a few occasions but it didn't really bother me.  I have just become invoved with someone and during my first week of this pill pack (day 4) I forgot to take my pill. I took 2 the next day.  As the next 10 days went by I took my pill every day but not at the exact same time but usually within 3 hours (I am starting to panic and worry that I took it way outside of tht window though LOL). On day 12 I has intercourse (we used a condom but I am always paranoid about condoms which is why I went on th pill i the first place so that I would have a backup method).  I am now in my last week of my of pill pack (day 18) and I am starting to freak out. My period is due next week and I am worried about my pill usage during the course of the month (I have OCD and worry that if I don't take it EXACTLY at the same time every day I will get pregnant LOL). My PMS symptoms tend to be sore breasts, fatigue, etc - like normal PMS symptoms (all in 3rd week of pill pack) and they are starting up but now I am freaking out. My breast starting feeling sore yesterday and I am assuming that it's my normal PMS pattern but now am starting to worry (I excel at worrying!)

I can hardly imagine that if I got pregnant from that one encounter last week my breast would start hurting 4 days later, right?  Like I said it's been a couple of years since I was sexually active (personal choice!) and now I am just trying to adjust to everything again and let someone in emotionally and physically so everything is kind of "larger than life" for me right now.

I am on Yasmin (Brand Name) in case that matters and it's a 21 day active pill and 7 day inactive pill cycle.
