I take the generic version and it is the same. By law the active igredients must be the same as brand pills but the inactive can be different, like shape, color etc. I did research before I switched from brand to generic and all the active igredients are the same. So if you don't care about the brand name stuff and want to save money I would switch to generic. I am glad I did because it only costs me $10 a month.
No nothing at all. I am glad I switched because prior to Tri Sprintec I was on Femcon Fe for 3 months. I had non stop breakthrough bleeding, I was so bloated and I was losing hair like crazy. As soon as I switched to Tri Sprintec the breakthrough bleeding stopped and no more bloading. But it took a good month for my hair to stop falling out. This pill works great for me and I am glad it is so affordable as well. Everyone is different and I've had great experience with this pill and I hope you will too. Hope this helps.
Ohhhhh and forgot to mention in my last response to you. I am on the Tri Sprintec for Ortho Tri Cyclen.. Not the Lo. The difference is only in estrogen which in Tri Sprintec/Tri Cyclen is 0.035 mg of Estrogen vs 0.025 mg in Tri Sprintec Lo/Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. That is why you can get breakthrough bleeding because of the low dosage. Additionaly with the low dosage if I didn't take it EXACTLY on time the bleeding would get worse. With Tri Sprintec I don't have to worry about that issue. Who has time for that! Give it a try if you don't like it you can try something else and you don't have to worry about losing so much money like on other pills.
