Hi,

I have a BC situation I would love some input on...

- recently switched ( I think 3 months ago) from seasonale back to allesse, first month back on allesse missed period. Took two pregnancy tests after missed period, and one two weeks later and both were negative.

- then next pill pack of allesse, had period, on right day and everything, but it was a bit lighter than usual

- during next pill pack, have been feeling a little queesy in the mornings, threw up one morning, and sometimes have hot flashes and feel sick

throughout the summer I have been a bit dizzy, but I am wondering if I should be worried. I am on the pill, am extremely careful with pill taking, Sexually active, will not let BF finish inside... and I am thinking of taking a pregnancy test... should I take one now or wait and see if I get my period..

Thanks!

hello!! maybe take a pregnancy test to help ease your mind. our bodies are always changing and what the pill does is releases hormones to make your body think its pregnant. hence the "morning sickness", the dizziness, etc. when do you take the pill? i used to take mine in the am-right after breakfast. when i would take it at night-i would wake up feeling sick too. a lot of morning sickness is caused by a drop in blood sugar...thats why you get sick in the am when youre pregnant. if you miss your period this month, i would call the doctor. but take a test-i think it will help ease your mind. most likely youre not pregnant-the alesse are pretty effective(i was on them for 2 years-and when i got off them, it took me 9 months to concieve my 2nd child)TAKE CARE!!

I would take a pregnancy test, but I would also go back to my doctor to ask to switch to another type of pill.
