Hi,
I'm new to this board. Was diagnosed and living with Crohn's since the early 90's. Up and downs with it and 2 surgeries later. I have a GI I like and I'm finally gotten my most recent flare under control and no longer anemic.YEAH! But, the medication did not take care of my RVF and he's referred me to a colo-rectal surgeon. My appointment is next month but I saw her a few years ago for the same reason. She thought I might need a seton stitch? But, I never followed through with it and I'm tired of the side effects connected to it. Has anyone gone through with this procedure? Did it help? How do you deal with it?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Sari,  I don't have experience myself with this particular procedure and I'm hoping another member will be by to help out soon.

It does sound like a procedure that has worked well for others in the past and is worth exploring in your case.
