I'm new to this message board but I was diagnosed with crohns disease in 2004 and had it under control for a while. I just had a baby in october and a few months after I started feeling bad but my doctor put me on entocort and it started to help a little until lately. I'm a marathon runner and whenever I run now I get intense cramping to the point where im running to the bathroom 4-5 times during even a short run of 5 miles. I take bentyl right before I run to hopefully prevent it but it doesn't seem to work anymore. I am doing a half marathon this saturday and I'm so nervous that I won't make it through. Does anyone have any advice with how to deal with this problem or advice on how to make myself relax so my stomach isn't in knots??
