Anyone else have to deal with this?
For what we pay for Dental insurance, the max pay-out is TOO LOW!
My max is like $1400 a year for a family.
You reach that max with 2 standard fillings!

I guess if "they" can't fix the general health-care system...then there is not much hope for dental care, huh?

Yes...I do realize how lucky I am to have Dental Insurance:) BUT the extra 2k out of pocket came from avoiding the dentist during the years withOUT insurance.
I guess you can't win...

Every insurance plan is different and between deductibles and out-of-pocket costs, it is a challenge to afford good dental care, BUT preventative maintenance will help keep our costs down.

Your right, every plan is different. But it seems to be the trend that most dental policies have very low max payouts.
I hope that I can avoid, or at least provide some damage control, by sticking with my check-ups from now on.
I guess all we can do is floss and brush...and hope for the best:)
Thanks for the response.

hello there!

you are absolutely right, every insurance plan is different. it's hard to tell what's the norm anymore.

prevention is the best medicine. if everything goes well for you and your family you will barely make a dent in your max.

take care :)
