Howdy, Buddies!

I feel so bad about being away so much this week, but things really ought to get better after this weekend.  How have you been?  Are you having a lose-y week?  I've been doing a bunch of walking with the Ghost Walk, but the food is coming and going.  I'm eating on plan whenever I can, but I've fallen off a few times when I was just plain tired or starving.  I have managed to avoid sweets though!

Today is Thirstday, so I'm going to try to remember to glug-glug-glug!  I hope you have a healthy/happy/hydrated day!!

Hi Karen-

Not much exciting going on here.  I have been feeling depressed the last few days and have made many bad food choices.  I did take a walk on Monday and Tuesday, but it has been raining ever since, and I haven't been motivated to do any of my exercise DVDs.  I have my water bottle sitting next to me and I am glugging away.

This morning, I helped out in Logan's classroom for a couple of hours and now I am taking it easy as I felt a migrane starting.  Hopefully I took the medicine in time, so I won't get a full-blown migrane.  This afternoon, Justin has speech and then I have to come home and make lasagna for supper.  We have been doing well lately about not going out for supper, it has been 2 weeks since we went out for supper.   The boys and I did go out for lunch this weekend though, but I like the fact that McDonald's has the apples slices for the kids' meals.

My rant of the day.  Logan has a girl in his class that is really overweight.  It is just her and her mother and I think they go out to eat a lot.  She doesn't drink milk.  This morning they had sharing time and she said she doesn't eat breakfast and when asked what her favorite food was she said chicken nuggets and fries (no apple slices, she doesn't like them she said).  I feel so bad for this little girl and wish someone would step in and get her eating healthy and eating the most important meal of the day.

I think those apple slices are such a good idea.  I wish they'd had them when our kids were little.

I'm sorry you've been feeling blue, (((Mary))).  I hope things look cheerier now.
