Well, I didn't see a post, so I wanted to just get the board started this morning. I know Karen's been busy (up to her eyeballs grading midterms) and haven't seen Roni on here in ages. But how are the rest of the buddies doing today?

I had very grand plans of taking two walks/jogs today. It's almost 2:30 and I haven't done one. In my defense though, it's miserable outside!! Rainy and cool and windy. I had to take the dog out...I mean literally walk him out to the grass because he's afraid to go potty by himself when it's raining...and man was I cold when I got back in!!

But okay, enough complaining. I have some cleaning to do and then I may head over to the gym. What is everyone else doing? How's your weather?

Howdy, Gretal -

Boy, it's like you've been spying on me....you haven't been, have you?  ;o)  I was up until about 2:00 grading midterms last night, woke up this morning just in time to get ready and run to class, and now I'm buried in another pile of midterms.  Who's idea was it to give these students midterms anyway???

Oh...yeah....that would be me.  Dang!

(((HUGS))) - Karen

I'm sure I have ESP or something...I just knew you had to be busy. Sorry you have so much grading to do. You should really consider scantron tests. Only you teach english or lit of some sort, right? So that would probably be a bit tricky =)

Anyway, hope you get some much-deserved down time soon! I hate when I'm the only one hanging around iVillage - LOL!

I teach communication and public speaking, so my tests are a lot more about practical application and less about the kind of stuff that I could put on a lovely, easy-to-grade test.  Drat the luck!

Hi Gretal-

It was foggy this morning but the sun did come out this afternoon for a while and the temps were in the upper 50s.  I did manage to take a hour walk this afternoon and it was great day for a walk.  The rest of the day I  spent at both of the boys' schools for their Halloween parties.  I was the only mom in Justin's class to bring a healthy snack, spider pretzels.

I hope you find some motivation to get some exercise in.
