Dieting Buddies

Happy Thirstday, Buddies!! 

I definitely want to celebrate Thirstday this week.  I keep falling to sugary temptation, and the best way I know to wash that out of my system is water!  I'm going to be a glug-machine today!!

So, Dan just popped in for about half an hour.  He has a show opening this weekend, and I've barely seen him all week.  The next time I expect him home is laaaaate Friday night....actually more like early Saturday morning.  I can't wait for this to be finished.  I miss him!

So, how are things in your part of the world, Buddies?  Do you have your pumpkins yet?  Are you decorated?  I haven't done a darn thing, but I'm making a list, and J and I are going to do some quick and massive Halloween prep tomorrow afternoon!

Hi Karen-

I have been trying to drink water today, but I have a sinus headache and I don't feel like doing much .  I did have a big glass of water with lunch.

We are all ready for halloween.   Decorations have been up for a couple of weeks.  I picked the pumpkins a few weeks ago from the garden and last weekend we carved 3 of them.  I gave the boys a marker to draw where they wanted me to cut so we have some strange looking pumpkins.  Tonight we are taking the kids into town for Terror on the Square, which they have trick or treating at the stores, carnival games, police and fireman demonstrations, and a costume parade.  Saturday we are taking the boys over to my FIL's house and trick or treat in his neighborhood, since we live out in the country.

I'm sorry about your headache.  (((HUGS)))  I hope it cleared up before too long.  Your Halloween plans sound like fun.  I miss the excitement of taking the kids trick or treating.  I may have to rent a few kids for the evening....
