As some of you have heard, Dawn is having health problems. I don't know all the details, but from what I gathered on Facebook, she has had a stroke - a mild one I believe. She posted afterward, so I'm taking that as a positive sign. She's in the hospital now having a ton of tests. The following came from an update posted on her Facebook page by a friend. I don't think she'd mind if I share it with you --
"UPDATE on Dawn. With every test that Dawn takes, the Dr. is able to rule out a lot of different diseases, etc. They think Dawn has vasculitis due to an auto-immune problem. She's in ICU - not because she's doing bad - it's so they can keep a very close eye on her. She's supposed to be there at least two more days before she is moved to her own room. Her husband said she feels fine, despite being poked and prodded. She knows that all of her family and friends are rooting for her, thinking for her and praying. She is very grateful to everyone for their support. I will be going to the hospital tomorrow to take a different friend in for surgery. I plan to visit Dawn while I wait. More details tomorrow by lunch time."
