Welcome to another glorious Thirstday!  I'm actually going out for both lunch and dinner today, and in addition to being careful about what I eat, I've vowed to order water to drink for both meals.  I don't drink diet soda often, but I do usually get it when I go out.  Water has got to be waaaay better for me, right?

So, what are your gluggification plans?  Got your bottles/glasses/jugs/taps/pitchers/coolers/hydrants/garden hoses ready for a day of hydration?  Let's glug!

I've got a busy day, but a lot of it will be fun.  I'm meeting a friend for lunch, then I'm driving J to college, then I'm doing some speedy grocery shopping, then I'm meeting J for dinner, then I'm teaching my class, and then, I'm putting on my jammies and watching my video tape of Survivor.  Whew!  I'd better remember to take my vitamins.

How's your day looking, Buddies?  Whatever you do, I hope it makes you smile!

((((HUGS)))) - Karen

Morning Karen-

It sounds like you have a full day today!  Enjoy your lunch with you friend.

I am starting the glugging now, as I helped out in Logan's classroom all morning and I didn't want to be running to the bathroom every 5 minutes.  The kids are testing this week, so I spent 2 1/2 hours in the hallway testing each kid on a bunch of sight words, rhyming words and a short story.  It was enjoyable for the most part and entertaining at times.  One of the words the kids had to read for me was "dam" and they thought they were saying a naughty word.  Also, most of the kids said "dog" when the word was "bag".

This afternoon, I will be back at school as Justin has speech.  I should do a little cleaning around the house as well.  Tonight, I hope to watch Survivor as I missed last week because we took the kids to Terror on the Square and then came home and watched Nightmare before Christmas.

Hi All,

Yes, I'm still among the living.  I was on vacation last week and I'm still catching up with everything.  I'm trying to get back into the groove of my diet and usual work routine.  It's amazing how soon we can forget we took a nice, relaxing vacation and yet still be reminded of it when we look around our home to see everythying we packed for it still isn't put away yet.

I ate too much last week but that is what a vacation is for - to kick back and relax from the usual routine. We went to a resort in the Poconos. I did make it to the gym 3-4 days so that at least felt good.  We did a little shopping, played some goofy games like teams of trivial pursuit, Family Feud and a game called You Be The Judge.

Work is okay.  I'm just burnt out from this commute to NYC.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.  I just submitted my resume someplace so who knows, maybe something will come through for me.  I would so love to ditch this commute so that I can work close to home.  I've definitely put on a few pounds in the past 2 months and would love to get back to my gym on a regular basis.

I will try to catch up with the postings here.  Take care,

Bennie
