Dieting Buddies

Wow, what a week our buddies have had.  First there was Dawn's health scare.   (If you haven't had a chance to "sign" it, don't miss the card in the Buddy Talk section.)  From what I read on Facebook, Dawn may be out of the ICU by now -- and possibly even allowed to go home soon! 

Our second piece of buddy news is that Gretal passed the bar exam!  (There's a congratulations down in the Buddy Talk section if you want to join the party!)  I've got to tell you that I never had a doubt that you would pass, Gretal.  Bravo!

And now, on to the regular buddy business:  Happy Weekend!  What are your plans for the day?  I have all kinds of catching up to do today - bills, cleaning, emails (-if the computer will cooperate!  For some reason, I now have internet, but I can't get the computer to send email.  Oy.)

Good Afternoon Karen-

Gotta love technology.  lol

This morning the boys and I went to town as I have been looking for a replacement electric skillet as we use ours almost everyday (sometimes more than once a day) and the teflon was starting to come off.   We bought the one we have now not even 2 years ago and of course the company doesn't make that model anymore.  I finally found one that I think meets all of the criteria and more yesterday, but I waited until Jeff had a look at it on the computer.  Then the boys and I went to Goodwill and bought some pants for me and Logan (that boy won't stop growing and is quickly running out of pants), a pair of play shoes for Logan and some books.  We stopped at McDonald's for lunch, then to the park, and stopped at Target (didn't buy anything). 

The boys are really driving me crazy today, but it is beautiful outside (in the mid-60s and sunny) and so even though they probably should be taking a nap, I am letting them play outside. 

I should do some cleaning now as the house is a disaster and some laundry.

I'm sorry the boys are getting to you today.  Thank goodness you have a nice day so they can go outside and run off some off that energy!
