Hello all.  Let's see who's here!  Please state your name, age, when your surgery was/is, where you live, etc.

Also, what is your favorite thing about the holiday season?  Least fave?

Stacy here in beautiful, warm, sunny FLORIDA (I'm enjoying it thoroughly after being in cold SC for 8 winters!)  I am 29 years old, 2 1/2 years postop from total abdominal hyst (due to endo and fibroids). 

My favorite thing about the holidays is seeing my kids faces when they open presents! Priceless.  My least fave thing is the hectic stores where people forget the reason for the season and get all nasty!  UGH  What happened to PEACE AND JOY?!  LOL

Hi Stacy. Its Dawn I am new here but have had alot of help already. Hopefully I will have surgery soon due to ovarian cyst.Sure rub in the fact that you are nice and warm in FLORIDA, while I sit here in beautiful, sunny, COLD Alabama freezing my HOOHOO'S off.LOL. I have to agree there is nothing better than a beautiful little face lighting up on Christmas morning. As for all the nasty people( I agree,I worked in a major retail chain for 5 seasons) they don't get pretties for Christmas!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! Dawn

Hi I'm Diane, 38, in sunny but quite chilly Pennsylvania. I am 18 months post op LAVH due to endo.

My favorite thing about Christmas is watching my children on Christmas morning. It's such a thrill to watch them get something they have really wanted. My least favorite is the shopping and people. I am not much of a shopper, so big crowds are not my thing.

Hello. My name is Carol. I am 36 years old and have 6 children. I live in California. I am 9 weeks post op. I had an abdominal hyst on Oct 4th.

My most favorite thing to do for the Christmas season is to decorate and cook with my husband and kids. We usually end up in a floury mess, but it is so much fun, lol. The worse thing is the grenches that go Christmas shoping. They are so rude, but the best thing to do is to SMILE at them and see what they do, lol. Happy Holidays everyone!!!
