Can I Offer Some Inspiration--I'm PG!!!

I haven't been on this board in almost a year. Last November I had a lap to remove a dermoid cyst--and the Dr. found stage 3 endo as well. Although I knew I had endo (I'd had a previous lap in 1997 to remove another cyst and they found it), I didnt know that it had progressed because I'd never had any pain. Anyway, I stage 3 endo on both of my ovaries and 2 cysts. One of my tubes was partially stuck to something. The surgery went well and I decided that I should start ttc right away, for fear that I would never get pg at this rate. I was 31. Well, fi and I start ttc in December--I learned how to chart and predict ovulation (which was pretty easy because I always get ovulation pains). Well, I conceived on January 2nd, I'm pretty sure, and now I'm almost 7 months pregnant!! Its a boy and my due date is September 23rd.
I just wanted to share my story for all of you who are worried and struggling w/ your fertility. I don't know if I was fertile all along or if trying right after the lap increased my chances. The dr. told me that many women go on to get pg right after the surgery because all of the 'junk' is cleared out. Maybe he was right. Anyway, I hope this brightened your day just a little.
