I read that the pain during intercourse is deep and stabbing well mine is like 1 or 2 inches upon entry and it's like a burning, ripping pain. Is this possible with endo? I went to the doctor and I had a pelvic exam and everything looked fine she said, and an ultrasound that was negative. Should I go back?

My symptoms:
Pain during sex
Extremely painful menstrual cramps (on the floor in pain)
Painful bowel movements that feel like I'm being stabbed (I cannot move when this happens)
Vomit because of painful periods
Diarhhea during period

I'm on the birth control pill and symptoms have gotten a tiny bit better but I have been dealing with painful periods since I was like 14 and painful sex for almost 2 years to the point where I can't have it. I am 20 years old. I am so frustrated.

Thank you.

I am sorry you are in pain. Yes you could have endometriosis, as someone who doesn't have any symptoms could too.

You are young and have plenty of time to get things fixed. Maybe later you'll want to have kids and if you do have endo it may interfere. I waited till I wanted to have kids to fix it, so it tookme much longer. I wish I had confirm it and take action when I was 19 that was when one doctor suspected it

An ultrasound won't show if you have endo. My Ultrasounds showed a cyst, so the doctor suspected endo. But I had much more endo everywhere that wasn't seen in ultrasound. Not always you can see it. Those are the least of times.

Un fortunately the only way to confirm endo is with a laparoscopy, wat is surgery. But if you suspect it and your doctor too, you should consider it. If you do have endo it may be fixed in the same surgery

Good luck andlet us know how it goes.
