We have the fline swu, according to my dd. She's been in bed since Sat. & has missed the entire week of her day program. Though the worst of mine is over, I cannot seem to shake the nagging cough, weakness & extreme exhaustion): My head isn't working properly & I have an awful time concentrating. I know I owe MANY emails. Please bear w/me.

I paid my entrance fee for an all day seminar tom. Come hell or high water, I intend to get there. They may have to carry me out on a stretcher. LOL I'm doing all the right things, but it does seem that as I get older, it's harder to shake these illnesses.

Hopefully, this bug will pass you guys over. (((hugs))) jan

I feel for you! My little one had H1N1 with very active symptoms for 2 weeks. She still has a lingering cough and is weak. She's getting stronger each day thankfully, but is still not 100%. This has just knocked the heck out of her. She missed 8/9 days of school but is finally back. The doctor said the active symptoms are averaging to last up to 2 weeks and the cough for any number of weeks thereafter. I'm 98% sure my son had it first only a mild case because he started with symptoms first - about a month ago now - and he still has the lingering cough & not as spunky as usual. Everyone I talk to who has had it or has someone close to them who has had it can't get over how sudden and hard it brings you down. Wishing you & dd a speedy recovery!!!! <3 <3 <3

(((Jan))) I hope you're all feeling at least a bit better now.  "Fline Swu" really stinks!

Thx, Amy! I got away from my daily walking because of the illness. It is a long road back to the energy & stamina I once had. I also spoiled myself w/a daily nap. The recliner is looking pretty darn good right about now;) (((hugs))) jan
