My favorite thing about summer is being able to have all the door and windows open, with fresh air blowing through the house. I do NOT like being shut in. :)
I love the longer days, warm weather, eating lighter, sleeping with windows opened so I can hear all the night noises (crickets, frogs, etc.), seeing neighbors more often...the lists can go on and on! LOL
I love my freedom during the summer. I am a teacher, and the school year is filled with early rising, deadlines, planning, and hours and hours of working beyond the work day. During summer break, I totally enjoy getting up when I want and doing what I want with my day!
