First and foremost, Hello and Baby Dust to all. :)

I have been lurking about for the past month in here as my doc has been humming and hawing about putting me on medications. If any of you can give me some advice as I'm new to the TTC aspect of this it would be greatly appreciated. My info is as listed below.

I am 24 year old mother of a bright and beautiful 6 year old hellraising daughter...lol
I have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus which has ultimately messed with every part of me..
I have just been prescribed Serophene 50mg, Provera 10mg, and Premarin 0.3mg.
I have not been on any BC since my daughter was 1.5 years old, and had 3 miscarriages.
My period has been normal up until one year ago.
I am just curious as to how some ppl have reacted to these meds (if any), and what I can possibly expect to go through. The doc has given me refills for 4 months, and not only am I hoping for this to regulate my ovulation cycles, but of course for another child. I will help others with anything that I have knowledge on, but I'm more or less looking for a lil bit of guidance in these matters. Thanks in advance to anyone that can lend a helping hand and maybe a bit of babydust...lol

Hi and welcome!

I will be totally honest and tell you that I don't know much about Lupus and how that affects teh body, and I know even less about what meds your dr has put you on to help out. I wish I knew something and could tell you! Have you done any Google searches on Lupus and the meds? I really, really hope that this works for you. What type of doctor are you seeing? I would think an endocrinologist would REALLY be the best for you.

I can send you loads of baby dust and well wishes though! And give you all the support I can muster.*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Is there a Lupus board on ivillage? (THERE IS! http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-bhlupus) Maybe they would be able to help more, I don't know.

I'll check and see what else I can find out for you!

Good luck!

Jen
